Al-Otaibi: A’ayan Leasing Holding Co. Successfully Manages Vehicles Portfolio Valued at KD 32 Million

Abdulla Al-Otaibi, Assistant CEO at A’ayan Leasing Holding Co. – a fully owned subsidiary of A’ayan Leasing and Investment Co., indicated that the company manages vehicles portfolio valued at KD 32 million, as the company and subsidiaries fleet reached almost 7000 vehicles of all models, types and sizes.
Al-Otaibi added that the Used Cars and Wholesale Sector in A’ayan Holding have achieved excellent results in fiscal year 2011, as the sales value was close to KD 13 million. The preceding period witnessed an increase in demand for used cars, as the company sells an average of 350 vehicles monthly through Mudalalah Cars Showrooms, which is an excellent number in the current circumstances. These numbers include Used Cars and Wholesale sales in and outside Kuwait, he explained.
Furthermore, Al-Otaibi mentioned that A’ayan owns a network of used cars showrooms covering all Kuwait governances through three Mudalalah Cars showrooms spreading Rai, Jahra, and Mahbola areas. While the fourth location for Mudalalah Cars is expected to open in Ahmadi city during the second quarter of this year to serve residents of tenth area. In this context comes the management plan to provide integrated services for companies and individuals in the tenth area, as A’ayan had already opened a garage in Ahmadi city serving company clients and relieving them from having to visit company garage at Rai area for maintenance and periodical services.
Moreover, Al-Otaibi said that we are in the process of opening a specialized Mudalalah center for appraisals of used cars as a special service to our clients and in competitive prices.
Al-Otaibi pointed out that Mudalalah cars are characterized as being new with light usage and many of them still covered by agent guarantee; in addition, Mudalalah cars are returns from operational leasing, which means that maintenance was conducted on a regular basis.
Additionally, Al-Otaibi talked about Rekab rent-a-car, a daily and monthly rental company and a subsidiary of A’ayan. Rekab has a large fleet of almost 500 new vehicles from all types of cars. He explained that Rekab updated her fleet during the past year in ongoing effort to satisfy clients and provide the newest models for them. Rekab airport branch is known for his exceptional services as it opens 24 hours a day and provide services to A’ayan clients as well. Rekab airport branch achieved outstanding sales for the year 2011.
